Sun Peak Metals Launches Drill Program at Halahila Gold-Copper Project

Sun Peak Metals Corp. has initiated its maiden diamond drill program at the Halahila Gold-Copper VMS Project in Saudi Arabia. This follows a successful drilling phase at the Safra VMS Project. The current program plans to cover approximately 2,500 metres.

The initial focus is on the Halahila Main zone, where a 650-metre gossan has been identified, with assays revealing up to 16.35 g/t gold and 180 g/t silver. Electromagnetic conductors below this zone present a significant target for potential sulphide mineralization.

Sun Peak's President, Greg Davis, highlighted the strategic benefits of operating in Saudi Arabia, citing a supportive regulatory climate and robust infrastructure. The outcomes of this exploration, alongside ongoing developments at the Safra Project, are expected to provide continuous updates throughout 2026.

The Halahila Project, part of the Arabian Nubian Shield, offers promising prospects for precious metals. Further exploration may expand the scope, targeting new mineralized zones south of the main area.
