Technip Energies and Partners Launch Rebound for Sustainable Aviation Fuels
Technip Energies, in collaboration with Airbus, Safran, and Tereos, has announced the creation of Rebound, a joint venture dedicated to the production of sustainable aviation fuels. Based at the Port of Dunkirk, this project aims for an annual production of 160,000 tons of SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) using Alcohol-to-Jet technology. SAF plays a key role in the decarbonization of aviation, aligned with the European ReFuelEU regulation, which imposes increasing obligations for SAF blending. This strategic partnership covers the entire value chain, from the supply of advanced ethanol by Tereos to end-use in aviation, thus supporting European leadership in the energy transition.
