Technip Energies secures agreement for major EPC contract in the United States
On May 15, 2026, Technip Energies announced that it had received full approval for an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract with Commonwealth LNG. This project concerns a 9.5 Mtpa liquefied natural gas facility in Cameron Parish, Louisiana.
Following the final investment decision, the company will proceed with the full execution of the project. The contract includes the construction of six liquefaction trains using SnapLNG by T.EN™ technology, promoting efficiency and cost reduction.
Technip Energies is thus strengthening its position in the LNG sector, bringing its modular expertise to the project. Arnaud Pieton, CEO, emphasizes the importance of this phase for improving global energy security.
