The Platform Group Acquires Cocoli to Boost Furniture Marketplace

On August 6, 2026, The Platform Group SE & Co. KGaA (TPG) announced the acquisition of the furniture marketplace Cocoli.com, expanding its Freight Goods segment. This strategic move strengthens TPG's position in the furniture market, adding to its existing portfolio, which includes Möbelfirst and 99Rooms. The acquisition will be completed through an asset deal.

Founded in 2021 and based in Berlin, Cocoli connects over 100 retail partners and features more than 300,000 product listings, particularly in upholstered furniture, seating, office furniture, and lighting. Notable brands on the platform include Vitra and Tempur. The acquisition aims to enhance market access and sales opportunities for partners while broadening product selections for customers.
