The Vanguard Group Discloses Stake in Aviva plc
The Vanguard Group, Inc. has released a Form 8.3 regarding its stake in Aviva plc, in accordance with Rule 8.3 of the Takeover Code. The disclosure comes as Vanguard holds 5.21% of Aviva's 32 17/19p ordinary shares, equating to 139,479,721 shares.
In addition to Aviva, Vanguard is also making disclosures related to Direct Line Insurance Group plc. The company's dealings on 30 May 2025 included purchasing 129,161 and 64,725 shares at 6.11 GBP and 6.12 GBP per unit, respectively, while selling 8,171 and 13,106 shares at similar prices.
