LIBERO football finance AG Delays 2024 Financial Statements

Frankfurt, April 30, 2025 – LIBERO football finance AG has announced a delay in the audit and publication of its 2024 annual financial statements. The delay is linked to a cash capital increase resolved at the Annual General Meeting on April 2, 2025, which is set for implementation in early May. Consequently, the completion of the financial statements has been postponed.

Complicating matters further are ongoing legal proceedings tied to the Barcelona/Bridgeburg transaction, a deal amounting to around EUR 15 million. These proceedings remain unresolved. Despite these issues, the Executive Board is optimistic about reaching a resolution soon, particularly with the collaboration of FC Barcelona, which is currently performing strongly.

The audited financial statements are now expected to be published after the capital increase and the finalization of negotiations with FC Barcelona, likely by June 30, 2025.
