Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. Sells Non-Performing Loan Portfolios
On June 16, 2025, Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. announced the sale of its non-performing loan portfolios. The bank finalized two separate transactions, including various loan types and related receivables. The total principal and contractual interest of the first portfolio amounted to TL 512.69 million as of May 7, 2025, sold to Sümer Varlık Yönetim A.Ş. for TL 103 million.
The second portfolio, amounting to TL 510.64 million as of May 8, 2025, was sold to Gelecek Varlık Yönetimi A.Ş. for TL 102.13 million. The total consideration for both transactions reached TL 205.13 million. The bank confirmed the accuracy and compliance of this announcement with regulatory standards and stated its responsibility for the declarations made.
