Turkiye Garanti Bankasi Engages in Galataport Debt Restructuring

Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. has entered into an agreement regarding the restructuring of debts linked to Galataport İstanbul Liman İşletmeciliği ve Yatırımları A.Ş. and Doğuş Galataport Gayrimenkul Yatırımları ve Ticaret A.Ş. This agreement is conducted in alignment with the Regulation on Restructuring of Debts to the Financial Sector.

As part of the agreement, 49% of Galataport's shares will be acquired by the lending banks, including Turkiye Garanti Bankasi, based on their proportional investment. A three-year repurchase right is granted to Doğuş Galataport.

Turkiye Garanti Bankasi is set to acquire 12.28% of Galataport shares by the end of 2024. Further developments will be publicly disclosed.
