U-blox Enhances IoT Portfolio with ALMA-B2 Modules

u-blox has announced the launch of the ALMA-B2 module series, developed in collaboration with Nordic Semiconductor. Based on the ultra-low-power nRF54LM20 series, the new modules offer next-generation Bluetooth® LE connectivity combined with low-latency Edge Machine Learning capabilities.

The ALMA-B2 series targets markets including industrial automation, healthcare, and smart homes. It integrates Nordic Semiconductor's wireless MCU for enhanced edge processing. The modules support Bluetooth LE 6.0, Thread, and Zigbee protocols, and include advanced security features.

Available soon, the ALMA-B2 is designed for applications demanding faster response times and energy efficiency. Its architecture supports complex applications while maintaining low power consumption, paving the way for innovative IoT solutions.
