U-blox Expands GNSS Portfolio with New Modules for Enhanced Autonomy

u-blox, a leader in positioning technologies, has launched two new GNSS modules, ZED-X20K and ZED-A20K, to enhance its automotive portfolio. These modules are designed to address scalability and safety needs in driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving platforms globally.

The ZED-X20K offers cost-effective, global high-accuracy positioning without requiring additional services, catering to ADAS L2+ systems. The ZED-A20K focuses on functional safety for L3/L4 systems, ensuring high-integrity positioning with a simplified single-module approach. Both modules feature pin-to-pin compatibility, assisting with system flexibility and easier integration for OEMs.

These products aim to reduce complexity and costs for automakers, facilitating a smoother transition to higher autonomy levels while maintaining performance standards. Evaluation kits for the ZED-X20K and samples for the ZED-A20K will further support development efforts in the coming months.
