Barclays Plc reduces its stake in Ubisoft Entertainment
On June 16, 2026, Ubisoft Entertainment announced that Barclays Plc had fallen below the 5% threshold of voting rights and share capital in the company. On June 9, 2026, Barclays indirectly held 4.89% of the voting rights through its subsidiaries following an off-market sale. Barclays Capital Securities Limited also crossed this threshold individually.
On June 10, 2026, a new threshold crossing was reported. Barclays then held 4.49% of the voting rights. This decrease is also explained by an off-market sale. Despite these reductions, Barclays retains a significant stake through financial contracts and securities lending. The company also holds shares through CFDs and portfolio swaps.
