UBS Group AG Reduces its Stake in Ubisoft Entertainment
On July 23, 2026, Ubisoft Entertainment announced that UBS Group AG, a Swiss company, had reduced its stake in the company. The 5% threshold of share capital and voting rights was crossed below on July 17, 2026, through companies controlled by UBS. UBS now holds 2,368,636 shares, representing 1.74% of the share capital and 1.61% of the voting rights.
This change is related to an off-market sale of shares. Furthermore, UBS holds, through various financial instruments, rights to a total of 298,633 additional shares and 2,000,000 shares through swap contracts. These arrangements reflect a complex strategy for managing UBS's stakes in Ubisoft.
