United Internet AG's Robust Performance in H1 2025
United Internet AG reported strong results for the first half of 2025, showing growth in customer contracts and revenue despite increased expenses. The company added 290,000 contracts, bringing the total to 29.31 million. This includes significant growth in Consumer and Business Applications, though Consumer Access contracts decreased by 60,000.
Revenue rose by 4.3% to EUR 3.232 billion, with EBITDA increasing by 2.0% to EUR 675.6 million, despite rising costs for 1&1’s mobile network. Operating earnings per share slightly declined to EUR 0.59.
Looking ahead, United Internet confirms its 2025 outlook, anticipating sales of EUR 6.45 billion and EBITDA of EUR 1.35 billion while planning cash capex around EUR 800 million.
