Veolia and AFD join forces for ecological transformation
On July 18, 2025, Veolia and the French Development Agency (AFD) formalized a three-year partnership. This agreement aims to combine Veolia's expertise in environmental services with AFD's presence in emerging countries. The goal is to address environmental challenges in Latin America, Central Asia, the Balkans, Africa, and the Middle East.
This strategic partnership focuses on water, sanitation, waste management, and energy. Actions are planned to improve access to water, preserve water resources, and develop innovative solutions for the circular economy and bioenergy.
Additionally, this partnership will emphasize social responsibility through joint initiatives. This alliance reflects a shared ambition to strengthen sustainable transitions internationally.
