VINCI Airports Reports 2025 Traffic Growth

VINCI Airports recorded significant growth in passenger traffic for the year 2025, reaching over 334 million passengers, an increase of 5% compared to 2024. The fourth quarter alone saw a 3.2% rise versus the same period the previous year, highlighting strong momentum in key regions.

Several European airports delivered stellar performances. Budapest Airport experienced double-digit growth, driven by airlines like easyJet, Ryanair, and Wizz Air. Mediterranean and domestic routes boosted Edinburgh's traffic.

In Latin America, Brazil's Salvador de Bahia and Monterrey in Mexico saw robust growth. Costa Rica continued to benefit from strong U.S. connections. African operations in Cabo Verde also showed a positive trend, supported by carriers such as easyJet.

Despite geopolitical tensions affecting flights in December, Japanese airports managed to post increased traffic in the last quarter of the year.
