VINCI Traffic Update: April 2025 Sees Upsurge

VINCI's latest report shows a notable increase in traffic for both its Autoroutes and Airports divisions in April 2025. Vehicle traffic surged by 3.9% compared to April 2024, driven by a robust 4.8% rise in light vehicle traffic. However, heavy vehicles saw a slight decline of 1.1%, attributed to the unfavorable calendar of public holidays in Spain.

In the airports sector, passenger numbers jumped by 9.4%. This growth was especially strong in Hungary (20%), Mexico (19%), and Japan (15%). In contrast, the Dominican Republic recorded an 11% decrease. The commercial movements also grew by 8.1%, led by a 36% increase in the United States.
