JP Morgan exceeds 5% of Vivendi SE's share capital
On September 25, 2026, JP Morgan Chase & Co. announced that it had exceeded the 5% threshold of both the share capital and voting rights of Vivendi SE. As of September 22, 2026, the financial institution held 52,129,442 Vivendi SE shares, representing 5.22% of the share capital and 5.06% of the voting rights. This acquisition was made through several affiliated entities.
JP Morgan Securities LLC holds the right to recall 736,357 shares through a contract with a third party and also holds 388,346 shares through another arrangement. JP Morgan Securities plc, for its part, holds shares linked to equity swap contracts, while JP Morgan Structured Products BV holds a call option contract.
This operation marks a crossing of thresholds regulated by the French commercial code, adopted following the purchase of securities on the market.
