Vonovia Shareholders Opt for Scrip Dividends

Vonovia SE announced that 35.53% of its shareholders have opted for scrip dividends following the company's AGM. This decision pertains to dividends from the 2024 financial year, during which the company declared a dividend of €1.22 per share, a significant 36% increase from the previous year’s €0.90. This reflects the company's robust performance.

The choice of scrip over cash dividends allows approximately €356.7 million to remain within the firm. Consequently, 12,768,562 new shares will be issued, increasing the total share count to 835,621,487. Shareholders are expected to receive the new shares in their accounts by 30 June 2025, while cash dividends payments are slated for 25 June 2025.
