Waga Energy records positive EBITDA for 2025
Waga Energy, a company specializing in biomethane production, announces a positive EBITDA of €1.2 million for 2025, an increase of €3.8 million compared to the previous year. This performance results from a 23% increase in revenue related to biomethane production.
By 2025, the company had produced 674 GWh of biomethane, thus preventing the emission of 311,000 tonnes of CO₂. With 36 units in operation and 19 under construction, Waga Energy anticipates recurring revenue of approximately €221 million per year from its 55 projects.
Despite an uncertain market and delays in the United States, Waga Energy continues to grow its commercial pipeline with 238 projects and maintains a solid liquidity position with €250 million available.
