WashTec AG Reports 2.3% Revenue Growth Amid Challenges
WashTec AG reported a 2.3% increase in revenue for the first quarter of 2026, reaching €111.3 million compared to €108.8 million the previous year. The growth was notably driven by gains in the North America segment within the Equipment business line.
The company's EBIT fell by 22.4% to €3.8 million, attributed to planned temporary increased costs and delays in efficiency projects. These setbacks primarily impacted the Europe and Other segments, while North America showed significant improvement in EBIT.
Free cash flow saw a significant decline of 57.6%, totaling €7.0 million due to reduced cash inflows from operating activities. Despite these challenges, ROCE improved to 24.2%, reflecting better earnings across the last four quarters.
Looking ahead, WashTec maintains its guidance for fiscal year 2026, although uncertainties remain due to geopolitical tensions and market volatility.
