WashTec AG: Strong Third Quarter Performance
WashTec AG reported a robust third quarter with a notable 35.8% increase in EBIT, reaching €14.8 million. Revenue for the first nine months climbed by 7.2% to €358.2 million, despite challenges in North America. EBIT for this period rose disproportionately by 17.4% to €32.4 million, with the EBIT margin improving to 9.0% from 8.2% the previous year.
The company experienced significant growth in Europe, which contributed to the positive results, while North America showed modest improvements. Free cash flow also rose by 11.2% to €27.8 million, driven by optimized working capital. The order backlog increased, particularly in Europe, underpinning future performance expectations.
