Wienerberger Expands into Serbia with Acquisition of Univerzum Group

Wienerberger AG has signed an agreement to acquire the Serbian Univerzum Group, a leading producer of clay blocks. This strategic move aligns with Wienerberger's growth objectives, strengthening its position in Southeastern Europe's construction sector. The acquisition includes two production sites in Serbia, projected to generate €20 million in revenues by 2026.

The deal comes as demand for clay blocks in Serbia and the surrounding region increases due to a growing construction market.
