Wolfden Discovers Promising Anomalies at Rockland Gold Project

Wolfden Resources Corp. has announced positive results from a deep induced polarization (IP) survey at its Rockland Gold Project in Nevada. The survey targeted areas below historical drilling, which indicated significant mineralization, to identify chargeability anomalies. This effort revealed a strong anomaly consistent with increased disseminated pyrite, likely linked to gold mineralization.

The company's 3D inversion model suggests a robust chargeability anomaly beneath existing lower-grade gold deposits. Covering a 1.7 km structural corridor, the anomaly aligns with previous drill results and altered rhyolite domes. This discovery follows Wolfden’s recent US$1.5 million land sale in Maine, providing funding for an upcoming 1,800-meter drill program set for July.

Senior Exploration Advisor Don Dudek highlights the site's promising large gold system potential, with previous drill holes showing gold intercepts. The IP findings support the theory of a pyrite-rich, higher-grade gold vein system at depth. By fulfilling the terms of an earn-in agreement, Wolfden aims for a 51% interest in the Rockland property by March 2028.
