Wolftank Group Completes Hydrogen Station in Bologna

Wolftank Group AG, recognized for energy and environmental solutions, concluded its hydrogen infrastructure project for Italian public transport operator TPER. This project, announced in February 2025, culminated with the completion of a hydrogen refueling station at TPER’s Battindarno depot in Bologna. The station is set to operationalize zero-emission hydrogen buses, supporting 127 buses as part of TPER’s investment in Emilia-Romagna.

The station features a turnkey design ensuring efficient refueling, compression, and storage. Using a Wolftank Group H2 Logistic Container, it includes two compressors and two dispensers operating at 350 bar, alongside a real-time monitoring control system.

The project adhered to the European Commission and Italian government’s PNRR guidelines, with funding of approximately EUR 4.9 million. This underscores Wolftank Group's influence in sustainable transport solutions.
