UBS Group AG crosses threshold in Worldline capital
On April 14, 2025, UBS Group AG, a Swiss company, announced that it indirectly held a 5.09% stake in Worldline. This stake corresponds to 14,434,032 shares, or 4.40% of the voting rights. This threshold crossing results from an off-market acquisition of shares. This transaction cancels the previously applicable trading exemption.
UBS Group AG controls 7,129,729 shares through various contracts, including right-of-use over shares and long call options. In addition, 20,911 shares are held under swap-on-basket contracts. These positions allow it to exercise options and use shares under its contracts, strengthening its stake in Worldline.
