Ray Cao, an ad tech veteran with a notable record in scaling ad businesses, joins Zalando as the Senior Vice President of Zalando Partner Marketing Services (ZMS) effective July 15, 2026. This move is part of Zalando's strategy to enhance its position as a leading European technology platform for fashion and lifestyle.
Cao brings experience from renowned tech companies like TikTok, Google Shopping, and Intuit. His appointment aims to elevate ZMS's retail media services, leveraging data-driven advertising solutions to benefit over 7,000 brand partners across Europe.
Joanna Rogers, who led ZMS for 1.5 years, will now focus entirely on her role as SVP Propositions, managing Zalando's fashion and lifestyle offerings.
