Appointment of New CFO at ZCCM Investments Holdings

ZCCM Investments Holdings Plc announced the appointment of Joackim Bantubonse as the new Chief Financial Officer. This appointment, effective 14th October 2026, adheres to Section 3.59 of the Lusaka Securities Exchange Listing Rules. Bantubonse brings considerable experience in financial management and strategic planning.

Previously, he served as Regional Finance Director at Gemfields Limited, focusing on operations in Mozambique and Mauritius. Earlier roles included senior finance positions in the Gemfields Group and companies such as Kagem Mining Limited and Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines. Bantubonse holds an MBA and is a Fellow of the Zambia Institute of Certified Accountants.

The board believes his expertise will enhance the company's financial management and help meet strategic goals. The board also expressed gratitude to Chitalu Kabwe for his interim service as Acting CFO.
