IRH and ZCCM-IH Strengthen Partnership to Boost Mopani and Zambia's Copper Sector

International Resources Holding (IRH) and ZCCM Investments Holdings Plc (ZCCM-IH) have reaffirmed their partnership for Mopani Copper Mines Plc, aiming at realizing long-term benefits for Zambia. IRH solidified its USD 1.1 billion commitment to enhance Mopani's operations, projecting an annual output of 300,000 tonnes of finished copper by 2029. This strategic move aligns with Zambia's ambition to produce 3 million metric tonnes of copper annually.

Mopani's workforce and local communities are central to this partnership, with both companies emphasizing job security, safety, and skill development for Zambians.
