Zero Waste Foundation Highlights Türkiye’s COP31 Vision in Bonn

The Zero Waste Foundation emphasized Türkiye's COP31 vision at the Bonn Climate Change Conference. This initiative centers on zero waste, circular economy, and global cooperation for climate action. Samed Ağırbaş, President of the Foundation, led discussions with international stakeholders on these themes.

Talks in Bonn focused on Türkiye’s preparations for COP31, climate finance, and circular economy practices. The agenda also included city-level actions and support for vulnerable countries. Ağırbaş underlined the importance of diaspora communities in promoting Türkiye's environmental vision abroad.

The Foundation aims to transition zero waste from a technical concept to a practical climate action framework. At a related forum in Istanbul, stakeholders emphasized zero waste's role in sustainable development, ahead of COP31 in Antalya.

Meetings in Germany also resonated with local climate policy debates. The Foundation seeks to integrate Türkiye's approach with international efforts on resource efficiency and sustainable cities.
