Discovery Energy Metals Corp. Updates Asset Purchase Agreement and Trading Symbol

Discovery Energy Metals Corp., a Canadian exploration company, has amended its asset purchase agreement with the vendor of the Sakami and Radisson East Lithium Properties. Located in the James Bay lithium district, these properties are part of Discovery Energy's focus on regional lithium discovery. As part of the amendment, the company will issue 2,200,000 common shares to the vendor. These shares will have a four-month statutory hold period and may face additional resale restrictions.

The company also announced a change in its OTC trading symbol from "DCLIF" to "DEMCF," effective May 1, 2025. This follows a company name change on April 1, 2025. The Frankfurt Stock Exchange symbol "Q3Q0" remains unchanged.
