Business Performance
Despite a global macroeconomic environment characterised by uncertainty, Baikowski has recorded solid growth in its business, driven by the ramp-up of new, high value-added industrial applications and the expansion of its end-market applications.
The electronics sector continues to perform strongly. Sales for CMP (Chemical Mechanical Polishing) applications continue to benefit from the strength of the global semiconductor market. Furthermore, the new generation of alumina developed for electronic applications is continuing its successful commercial rollout.
In the automotive market, business was temporarily down compared with the first half of 2025. This trend mainly reflects the timing of deliveries for certain orders, which are expected in the second half of the year.
Other markets contributed to first-half growth, driven notably by strong sales of alumina products for technical ceramics, reflecting the gradual expansion of Baikowski's end markets.
In the first half of 2026, the geographical breakdown of revenue was as follows: Asia and other regions of the world (excluding Europe and the Americas) accounted for 66% of the total (versus 53% in the first half of 2025), the Americas 19% (versus 29%), the rest of Europe 11% (versus 14%), and France 4% (versus 4%).
Outlook
Baikowski is building on solid fundamentals and continuing to develop a portfolio of innovations addressing several high-growth markets, including electronics, technical ceramics and advanced materials for the energy sector.
The underlying trends in its main markets remain favourable in the short term.
Baikowski reaffirms its confidence in its ability to continue its profitable growth trajectory, supported by the gradual expansion of its addressable markets and its positioning in high value-added applications.
Next financial event
2026 half-year results and half-year financial report to be released on September 28, 2026, before market opening.
