Enegix Global Powers Oman's National Bitcoin Mining Pool — Second Sovereign Mandate for the Company after Kazakhstan

Enegix Global, a vertically integrated digital energy and infrastructure company, has provided the technological platform and liquidity infrastructure for Omanhash.om — the official national cryptocurrency mining pool of the Sultanate of Oman, launched by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT).

This marks Enegix Global's second government-accredited mining pool mandate, following the successful launch and operation of btcpool.kz in Kazakhstan. The company is now the only operator globally to have built and run multiple sovereign-level Bitcoin mining pools, establishing a distinct category in institutional digital asset infrastructure.

A New Standard for Sovereign Mining Infrastructure

Omanhash.om will operate as the sole official and mandatory mining pool for all licensed cryptocurrency mining companies in the Sultanate of Oman, subject to the approved regulatory framework. The pool is managed and operated in cooperation with Frontier Technologies LLC (Frontech), an Omani blockchain and Web3 company focused on advancing national technological goals, with Enegix Global serving as the technological and liquidity provider.

The pool is expected to consolidate approximately 10 EH/s of computing power in its initial phase — bringing Enegix Global's combined pool operations to approximately 25 EH/s across its international portfolio, which includes 21pool.io, btcpool.kz, and now omanhash.om.

Oman: A Major Digital Infrastructure Market

Oman has been one of the most active jurisdictions for large-scale crypto mining investment since 2022, as part of the country's economic diversification agenda. Total investments in mining and data center infrastructure in the Salalah Free Zone have exceeded USD 700 million, including two major facilities launched in 2022 and 2023. Omanhash.om reflects the government's next phase: consolidating this capacity within a regulated, transparent national framework.
