EVN and STRABAG conclude the sale of WTE

EVN and STRABAG agreed in December 2024 on key terms of the sale of all shares in WTE Wassertechnik GmbH, which bundles significant parts of EVN's international project business, to STRABAG. The signing of the transaction documents took place in June 2025.

As all approvals and consents from third‑parties required for the completion of the transaction have now been obtained and all other conditions have been fulfilled, the closing took place.

The transaction comprises significant parts of the European business as well as WTE’s business activities in the Middle East.

The transaction provides for a purchase price of EUR 100 million. The transaction supports EVN's focus on its core business in line with the implementation of its Strategy 2030.
