Infracore completes acquisition of See-Spital hospital buildings in Horgen

Infracore SA, a Swiss real estate company specializing in health care infrastructure, announces the completion of the acquisition of the hospital buildings of See-Spital in Horgen, in the canton of Zurich. The transaction represents an important milestone in Infracore’s development and marks the first sale-and-leaseback transaction completed by the company with a public hospital.

Following the acquisition, See-Spital will continue to operate the hospital on the Horgen site under a long-term lease agreement. The transaction therefore ensures full continuity of medical operations and patient care, while allowing the hospital to unlock capital tied up in its real estate infrastructure.

With this acquisition, the valuation of Infracore’s real estate portfolio now exceeds CHF 1.5 billion. Annual rental income from the portfolio is expected to exceed CHF 73 million in 2026 and CHF 78 million in 2027.

The transaction further confirms the relevance of Infracore’s model as a long-term owner of essential healthcare infrastructure in Switzerland. By separating ownership of hospital real estate from medical operations, Infracore offers healthcare operators a professional, stable and sustainable real estate solution, while supporting their ability to focus capital and management resources on their core mission: the delivery of high-quality care.
