Marquis Who’s Who Honors Jennifer Hartenstine, MBA, for Leadership in Construction Technology

Uniondale, NY, USA, June 18th, 2026, FinanceWire

Marquis Who’s Who honors Jennifer Hartenstine, MBA, for her leadership in construction technology consulting. As the founder and president of Construction Technology Solutions Inc. (CTS), she helps organizations improve operations through better systems and communication. Ms. Hartenstine has been selected for her professional achievements and for her steadfast commitment to teamwork and practical problem-solving in the building industry.

About Jennifer Hartenstine

As the founder and president of CTS, located in the Greater Chicago Area, Ms. Hartenstine works with builders and project teams on software adoption, workflow organization and operational planning. Her focus is on helping companies turn scattered processes into clear, repeatable systems that employees can follow.

Ms. Hartenstine’s path into the industry began soon after attending Temple University’s Fox School of Business where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. Shortly after graduation, she joined a company that produced construction management software, starting in a support role answering questions and assisting users. Over time, she learned the platform, led implementations and moved into consulting. The work introduced her to construction operations and matched her natural interest in organization and structure; a perspective shaped in part by growing up around engineering and program management.

In addition to her undergraduate degree, Ms. Hartenstine also earned a Master of Science in enterprise project management and a Master of Business Administration with the same concentration from Stevens Institute of Technology.

Ms. Hartenstine was eventually referred to an opportunity in New York, where she joined a developer as an information technology project manager. There, she helped onboard a construction joint venture into specialized software and became a subject matter expert. From that point forward, her roles and responsibilities continued to grow as she combined her knowledge of technology with construction operations.

Throughout her career, Ms. Hartenstine has observed ongoing labor shortages in construction dating back to the years following the recession. Fewer people are entering the skilled trades, while builders face rising costs and a limited housing supply. At the same time, the industry has begun slowly adopting tools such as prefabrication, automation and artificial intelligence. She believes these technologies will help companies scale and work more efficiently as younger leaders become more comfortable using digital tools.

Recently, Ms. Hartenstine began a contract as a senior project manager with the Illinois State Tollway, helping implement a new enterprise software system to replace a long-used internal platform. The project highlights her experience coordinating departments and guiding organizations through major technology changes.

The Importance of Adaptability

Ms. Hartenstine credits her success to empathy, adaptability and consistent effort. She values honest communication, teamwork and helping others meet deadlines when challenges arise. She approaches work calmly and focuses on steady progress over time while always keeping the bigger picture in mind.

Looking ahead, Ms. Hartenstine plans to continue expanding CTS while staying involved in projects that connect technology with construction operations. She remains committed to helping organizations work more smoothly and supporting teams through change with clarity and respect.
