Juicy Fields money laundering case: Schirp Schmidt-Morsbach lawyers file further civil lawsuits against Cyprus-based iSX Bank. iSX unsuccessfully attempts to silence Schirp Schmidt-Morsbach in court

There is no let-up in the Juicy Fields scandal, the biggest cannabis fraud of all time. Let us recall: Over 186,000 investors invested €645 million in cannabis plants. In the end, it turned out that the plants did not exist and the money was lost. Some of the perpetrators are in custody, others are on the run. Conclusion: a huge pyramid scheme.

Legal proceedings against the Cypriot company iSX Financial EU Plc. are gathering pace. iSX was the payment service provider through which the ‘Juicy Fields’ perpetrators collected investor money and moved it out of the EU. Investors are now demanding compensation from iSX. The main focus is on the suspicion that iSX participated in money laundering activities by the Juicy Fields perpetrators or at least did not prevent these money laundering activities.

Lawyer Dr. Wolfgang Schirp from Berlin, whose law firm represents several hundred investors: ‘This week alone, we have filed four more claims for damages against iSX. German investors can file a lawsuit at their local court in Germany. We are making use of this option. This makes it much easier for German consumers who have suffered losses to assert their rights than if they had to file a lawsuit in Cyprus.’

Dr Wolfgang Schirp continues: ‘iSX – which is, after all, a regulated payment service provider – is obliged under EU law to carry out strict money laundering checks. If this has not been done, iSX is liable to investors for damages. This is the focus of our lawsuits.’

Dr Schirp's final conclusion: "iSX tried to silence us, but without success. Represented by Dentons, which claims to be the world's largest law firm, iSX attempted to have numerous statements about its involvement in the Juicy Fields scandal prohibited by court order (file number 2 O 471/25 eV of the Berlin Regional Court). iSX has failed completely in this attack and must now bear the costs of the proceedings. We will not be intimidated by such attacks in the future, but will continue to pursue clarification and enforce the rights of our clients."
