Turkey’s Loxigo Enters the Growing Race to Automate Professional Office Work

Istanbul, Turkey, September 18th, 2026, FinanceWire

Loxigo The market for AI-powered office automation is expanding as businesses look for tools that can handle increasingly complex knowledge-work tasks, from analyzing spreadsheets and conducting research to preparing reports and presentations.

Platforms such as Claude Cowork and ChatGPT Work are positioning AI systems as digital coworkers that can take on assignments rather than simply respond to individual prompts. The development is also creating opportunities for specialized AI companies seeking to compete with larger technology providers by focusing on specific categories of professional work.

Turkey-based Loxigo is one such company. Designed to collaborate with professionals across everyday knowledge tasks, its office agent, Loxi, is positioned as an alternative to broader AI work platforms.

In a company-reported comparison using JobBench, a benchmark focused on professional tasks, Loxi achieved a score of 58.2%. Loxigo said the result matched Claude Fable 5 and placed Loxi ahead of GPT-5.6 SOL in the comparison. The company also reported that Loxi completed deliverables for all 65 evaluated tasks without time-outs, refusals, or empty output folders.

Loxigo attributes the performance to a development approach focused on combining model optimization with the software responsible for planning and executing tasks. According to the company, its team spent eight months conducting controlled experiments aimed at improving task planning, file creation, and output verification.

The approach reflects a broader shift in AI development, where smaller and more specialized models are being designed around specific workflows rather than attempting to serve every possible use case. For businesses, this can make the cost of completing a particular assignment an increasingly important factor when evaluating AI tools.

Loxigo also says that its optimization work can reduce operating costs to as little as one twentieth of those associated with the larger models included in its comparisons. Loxi is currently offered free by the company, with user feedback contributing to its ongoing research and development.

The expansion of specialized AI tools also raises questions around data management and technology dependence. Businesses using AI for financial records, customer information and internal documents may need to consider where those systems operate, how information is processed and the terms governing access to external AI services.

Smaller models can provide another option for organizations that prefer to operate AI systems on their own infrastructure. Keeping models and related processes within an organization may allow sensitive documents to be handled internally, potentially addressing some confidentiality concerns that have limited AI adoption in certain business environments.

The competitive landscape is also becoming more geographically diverse. France-based Mistral and the United Arab Emirates’ Technology Innovation Institute, which develops the Falcon family of models, are among organizations outside the United States and China contributing to the development of AI technologies.

Turkey has also identified artificial intelligence as a strategic area of development. Its National Artificial Intelligence Strategy for 2021–2025 called for a new breakthrough in artificial intelligence and outlined objectives related to strengthening the country’s AI ecosystem and capabilities.

For companies developing specialized AI systems, the opportunity increasingly lies in demonstrating how effectively and economically a system can complete real-world professional assignments. As businesses evaluate AI based on completed work rather than model size alone, specialized developers such as Loxigo may seek to compete by combining targeted models with software designed around specific workflows.
