VOGO has won all lots in the National Rugby League’s latest call for tenders and has signed a strategic six-season partnership
All of VOGO’s sports technologies and solutions (refereeing, medical, etc.) will be delivered under a single contract
An expanded partnership incorporating sponsorship and technological innovation, particularly around AI
VOGO (ISIN: FR0011532225 – ALVGO), a leading international provider of audio and video solutions for sport, has been selected by the French National Rugby League (LNR), following a consultation launched with eight candidates, to operate and deploy audio and video devices during the French professional rugby competitions from the period 2026-2027 to 2031-2032.
This major new contract is a big step in VOGO’s relationship with the LNR. It confirms the Group’s position as the leading tech partner of French professional rugby and illustrates the relevance of its unique model combining video and audio communication solutions with innovation for the benefit of the competition’s officials and other stakeholders.
As a partner of the LNR since 2017 with its concussion protocol (HIA), VOGO has already deployed video coverage during matches for the medical teams. Starting from the 2026-2027 season, the Group will significantly expand its scope of intervention to cover the three strategic components of the system adopted by the LNR:
- the operation and distribution of multi-camera video streams for all actors involved (doctors, officials, clubs, referees, etc.);
- the sound systems and communication systems for the referees, officials and medical teams;
- video support for the referees through a new multi-camera replay platform that meets professional rugby and broadcasting standards.
This unified architecture means VOGO can provide the LNR with a centralised platform allowing secure access to video streams, synchronised multi-camera viewing, instant slow-downs, image-by-image analysis, traceable referee decisions and the sharing of content between the various competition stakeholders.

This partnership also comes as part of a long-term process of innovation and in a general context of national sovereignty. It includes a sponsorship agreement and a joint technological innovation programme to strengthen the development of new AI-based functionalities.
Christophe Carniel, Co-Founder and Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of VOGO, said:
“This decision by the National Rugby League is a huge endorsement of the strategy and technological expertise that VOGO has developed over the last ten years alongside French professional rugby. As well as renewing our collaboration, it underscores a vision of an ecosystem in which innovation simultaneously contributes to sports equality, quality refereeing and player protection.
The fact that the LNR has entrusted us with all the audio, video and refereeing components of its competitions demonstrates the relevance of our integrated approach and the level of trust in our teams. We are especially proud to be able to support the LNR in building new AI-based solutions that will help make French professional rugby a global benchmark in sports innovation."
